As a general process, keep your machine updated with the latest updates (Windows and Mac updates), as well as Chrome updates and any other applications you use (Office, Teams, Zoom)
You won’t need any convincing that security is important… every day we hear about another company that has been hacked, or a friend that got scammed.
As scary as it all is, especially given how sophisticated some of the phishing processes are, there’s a few key processes that will help keep us safe:

(Avoid using Chrome for passwords.)
In an ideal world there’s only 2 passwords you need to remember:
This means that if you were stranded somewhere, all you need to be able to do is get access to a device (eg a new iPhone from the Apple Store), log into your new device, install 1Password, and log into 1Password. From there you have access to everything again.
